I'm not sure where Apple is going. My wife had an iPad mini 4 that, after two years of use for no apparent reason, started to shut off by itself, regardless of the charge level. After a week, things return to normal, but then it starts shutting off every hour for no apparent reason. As luck would have it, diagnostics turned up nothing, and it performed flawlessly for them. I gave her a brand-new 2022 model as a birthday gift. I specifically spent to purchase the genuine one, denoted by the letter "R," from a licensed vendor. When they opened it, it initially turned on normally, then started to adjust. Eventually, the contrast on the screen dropped to the lowest setting, giving the impression that milk was inside. Resets and flashing are ineffective, too. The present is harmed. I'll check to see which services are available during quarantine.
