I have been using a very nice coverlet for my sofa and chair since I got very expensive furniture this year and it keeps slipping because I only buy leather. The fabric is too stiff for cat and dog hair. I read all the reviews and the only reason I chose this one over another that covers the entire sofa better was because it works with a pull out sofa. The sofa covers are much better than the chair I received today. If that doesn't stay up I'm sending the comforters back and that should help keep the comforters from slipping and falling off. While I was writing this review, my only cat climbed onto the couch and started scratching the comforter, which she has never done with my other comforters. I guess I'll put my blankets over it. I have a problem with her nails ruining my new couch. This should prevent the blankets from sliding down. What do we do for our pets!
