For money, why not?

I ordered my copy off eBay because it was $68 and it got free shipping. It took some time to leave Hong Kong due to the global pandemic. It comes in a nice matte box that you can use for other little knick knacks. It's a bit heavy, all metal, and looks a bit weird. Based on a vintage Voigtlรคnder lens, this little guy won't disappoint. 35mm is not my favorite focal length on asp-c. I think it's a bit tight for most exercises, I prefer to use 28mm which is about 40mm. In the closed position it is sharp and packs a good punch. The Chelsea Hotel photo surprised me at how much it reminded me of 220 with 80mm film, it didn't hurt that I cropped it to 4x5. It's good in low light at f/1.4, and I did notice some chromatic aberration when I opened it wide open in the sun, but when I'm shooting during the day I usually cover it anyway. TTArtisan seems to be the two better artisans, the other being the more popular 7Artisans. The former releases fewer products but each has pretty good reviews, while the latter is such a sliding scale. The lens also features a snap-on aperture, which is hard to find on third-party lenses. I combine it with my Zonlai 22mm. They also make a 17mm 1.4 which I'm dying to try. Will buy it immediately.

Pros
  • Lenses for mirrorless cameras
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
