Review on Dorman 911 239 Evaporative Emissions Chevrolet by Sam Simone

Although this kit was listed as correct for the car (it was used on an '06 Silverado) it did not fit exactly. GM has at least one tech bulletin for a vapor breather valve on some of their trucks, including the Silverado, that requires moving or adding a filter, and this kit proved to be what was needed for the modification. It worked in the end, but the line from the charcoal tank to the vent didn't even come close to making a proper connection, it was too long and had to be routed in an odd place to connect to the charcoal tank. The kit included instructions with photos showing the installation process, but the photos didn't have enough detail to show how everything was supposed to be installed and from what I could see in the photos it didn't really seem to match the car . I've been working on it. It was also impossible to install the filter in the place indicated in the photo.
