Review on πŸ”‹ Stinger SGP38 80-AMP Battery Isolator and Relay - Enhanced Power Management for Vehicles in Sleek Black Design by Andy Kucrud

Works well but has some disadvantages

First I am using this relay to increase the power I can get from the ignition sensor circuit in my car. enough isolator for use in a dual battery system depending on how you set it up. If your auxiliary/secondary battery is only powering the extras and the starter battery is still powering all the standard equipment in your car, that should be fine. If you have a system where one isolator disconnects the starter battery and a second powers everything while the car is off, this isn't for you. it turned on, which made me wonder if the resistance of the coils was too low, and maybe I could add a resistor to reduce that current draw by having a higher minimum turn-on voltage. There is something to consider. Additionally, the coil terminals (which you connect to the relay) are relatively difficult to tighten/loosen because they are so close to the relay's body and a small divider between them (presumably to prevent a short circuit). , but you should be a backup to prevent damage from it in any way). In general, this is a regular relay. It gets the job done, but if a little thought had gone into the design it could have been a lot better. Personally, I would have only spent 12€ if I had known that beforehand.
