I am a collector and have a small fleet of vintage Toyota pickups and a newer 85 4Runner. Upgrading to LEDs was a breeze, except for the turn signals. Some sellers made obscure English references to resistors, suggesting their product would work, and after trying a few of these I was certain I would have to cut into the wiring harness to install the built in resistor. until I found this one. They work? Yes, and today I used them to upgrade a pristine 1983 Toyota 4x4 pickup truck. are they light They are so bright that once installed I had to wonder if it's too much. I installed one side and tested it against the original bulbs and the LEDs were bright enough that I had to wonder if there was a limit to reasonable light output from a turn signal. In any case, they exist, and you can exceed them for nighttime use, but no one will misunderstand your intentions; so true.
