Works as expected with Canon EOS Rebel T3. As another reviewer mentioned, the camera's battery door must be closed for it to work. UPDATE March 2019: I've only used the adapter 3 times in the 2 years since I bought it, but it no longer works properly. The EOS utility hangs every time I try to time series with the adapter attached, but it works fine with the OEM battery installed. I tried several computers and the EOS utility got stuck on all of them. My guess is that this adapter is causing intermittent power outages that disrupt the connection to the computer. Order another third-party adapter, hopefully different from this one.
