We installed a couple pieces of plywood which are attached to studs then mounted these on the plywood. Someone could probably hand off them if they wanted they are on there so well. We have 1/2inch drywall so tend to avoid drywall mounting screws. But this kit include the large plastic screws that really hold well (we have used similar in other spots). But for heavy tools the plywood + screws works best.The plastic coating is decent quality, about the same as any other plastic coated hanger I have used and the kit includes plenty of mounting screws. The pictures I included show hangers from other sets that don't have the plastic coating and I really wish we had gotten the plastic on all of them as that coating helps hold tools in place and helps prevent scratch and nicks on our tools.
