Review on Ergon TP1 Shimano Cleat Tool by Carlos Whitfield

This is a great tool for correct cleat alignment. I've found that even on high-end shoes, the alignment marks on the outsole are rarely accurate. This made it easier and faster to perfectly align and set up my cleats for both feet. It's one of those things that you use once and then keep for a couple of years until you need it again when it's time to upgrade your boots. High quality molded plastic (I thought the product photos made it look a bit like that foam or something) fitted my Shimano SPD cleats very snugly (compresses the rubber bumpers on the cleats a bit), but it helped ensure proper alignment.
