Easy to use tool to fine tune SPD SL cleat placement on shoes

I used the Ergon SPD cleat tool before and it's almost the same, just for SPD SL cleats. It is very easy to use, very accurate and allows you to set the spikes correctly. I highly recommend this tool.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The Best Tool Ever Used

This thing was gold to me. I have never been able to tune my road cycling shoes for perfect comfort. Something was always wrong. But the TP1 SPD SL Cleat Tool really caught the position of my shoes on the pedals. Good product. It takes a little time to really adjust the cleat position, but as far as bikes in general go, no.

Agreed placement

A good choice for the DIY/locksmith for bolt adjustment. However, her procedure appears to be reserved for people with delicate legs. My 13 boots do not match her weight. So I use it solely for placement after making my choice in other ways. It works well as a transmission device. But not as a tracking device for big feet. Durability, if the user is careless, it will not last long.

Makes installing studs easier

These stud tools are amazing. I no longer have to rely on a bike shop to find cleats for new shoes. Now that my kids are riding in cleats, I no longer have to spend money at a bike shop to get cleats for my boots. It's surprisingly easy to use: all you have to do is figure out where the spindle sits on your foot. Once you've done that, all you have to do is center the heel and tighten the screws. Remember to apply Lock Tit to the screws before installing them.

Pros
  • Still satisfied
Cons
  • Was damaged

Good tool for correct cleat alignment

This is a great tool for correct cleat alignment. I've found that even on high-end shoes, the alignment marks on the outsole are rarely accurate. This made it easier and faster to perfectly align and set up my cleats for both feet. It's one of those things that you use once and then keep for a couple of years until you need it again when it's time to upgrade your boots. High quality molded plastic (I thought the product photos made it look a bit like that foam or something) fitted my Shimano…

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • High price

How did I dress my boots before this tool? Amazing

How I used to live without her. After using this setup, my boots are historically like using a typewriter versus a computer. Very easy to use, scored my boots for each foot. As soon as I put the shoes on the platform, it became clear how crooked they were and why my knee was bothering me. By following the instructions I was quickly able to set it up. Recommendation: keep your exercise bike handy as getting on and off the bike after adjusting my position helped. After initial adjustment, wait to
