I put them in our Christmas Snowman Blow Mold and Peppermint Trail Blow Mold. The remote has to be very close but I never use the remote, I use the mode button on the back to change it. Bengal lights are the brightest, blown forms are brighter than electric lights, I'll try not to forget to take a picture. As bright as my neighbors who use traditional electric lanterns, the sun's rays slowly dim during the night, but those who still pass through the Christmas lights and look into the early midnight hours can use solar lanterns for free and, in my opinion, safer. Easy to fix if it's just a broken strand. I leave them in the trees year round if we have a power outage, guess who else has lights? The solar lights are great and have been my favorite purchases for at least 3 years.
