I bought this to use with my Sony a7iii and a new 28/60 compact camera. It's not a big setup, but I think it's still too much for that. I really like the detachable remote and it's easy to pair for me, but it falls short in other areas. My main concern is that it's pretty shaky and not easy to handle while filming. The main reason for the purchase was to use it during video shooting, so I'm not very happy with the purchase. Honestly I don't even think it would be good for photos with my setup. The top is so flimsy that it tilts to one side with the battery and I definitely wouldn't use it for long exposures; There are probably no time gaps. I give 2 stars for the detachable remote and the fact that it plugs in easily, but maybe I'm being too generous.
