This item arrived very quickly. We washed it a few weeks ago and put it on the bed. This has been tried several times and works quite well. On high it heats up quickly and gets really warm. I really like the timer option where I can set the time to 1 hour and the temperature to 10 (the highest). This gives me a warm bed when I've finished my nightly routine. I went to bed last night and forgot to turn on the mattress pad. Turned on in bed for a maximum of 1 hour. I fell asleep and didn't wake up again because the mattress topper shut off before I got too hot. The main issue I had with the bed was that I had tried other temperature settings (5 and 7) and after an hour the bed didn't seem to get as warm as I expected. Returning it is not enough for me and I need to try this mattress topper at different temperature settings as well as time settings. I might be happy to make a bed for 4 with a 4 hour timer, who knows. After all, this mattress topper does what it's supposed to do: cool the bed and keep me warm when needed.
