We have a really nice mattress that we paid a lot of $ for less than 2 years ago. Our backs still hurt so much though. We bought this pillow topper and it has helped a lot. It came with a weird odor. We had to put baking powder on it and vacuum it up several times to remove the odor. The pillow topper does take some getting use to. At first we were regretting our purchase. 2 weeks later we were thinking maybe it wasn’t so bad. 3 weeks and we were happy with our purchase and 4 weeks and we can’t imagine sleeping without it now. It still has a faint smell of that odor it first had when we first opened it though. That’s my only issue. Mt daughter purchased a queen size one and hers didn’t have the odor issue. To be honest, the only reason I didn’t return it was because getting a box to return it was nearly impossible. I wouldn’t recommend it but only because I don’t know about the odor. Maybe it is the king sizes that have that odor. I don’t know but that’s the only issue I have with it.
