Review on πŸ’« Renewed Samsung Galaxy A71 5G Fully Unlocked (128GB, Prism Cube Black) by Boyan Boyanov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I upgraded from a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 running a pixel-style custom firmware (ion OS, if you're curious) and can attest to its superior comfort and performance. The process begins with vibration and ends with system operation. In the two days that I've been using the phone, the scanner has never made a mistake, but setting up a finger is a tedious, non-intuitive process: you apply in one spot, and the phone displays a different area of the finger. There is no shim option on the screen; if you're curious, you can only modify the profiles. naturalistic or saturated (this just applies to the color settings) - The camera takes passable shots, the hcam takes slightly better ones, but neither one makes you say, "wow, that's it, I'll only use the hcam!" even when stabilization turns the video into soapy soap. Pros
  • In-glass scanner, NFC, performance screen, and shell Despite what some bloggers may have said, after only two or three days of using the scanner on my phone, my finger has learned to reach for it completely on the machine, and the scanner is much faster than scanning my face. I appreciated that the lock button could be remapped to any function, from the camera to the calculator, and not only bigsby or the power off option. The phone has been upgraded to OneUI 3.1 on Android 11 in 2022. It appears that they have made adjustments to the camera such that it no longer washes as frequently.
Cons
  • The phone, as far as I can tell, only permits the use of Samsung utilities, and I still haven't figured out how to recover it from a Google account. Since the assistant was "cut out" for the 2022s, the only negative thing I can say about bixby (which is more of a negative for all Samsung devices) is that it constantly suggests itself. In the same manner that it is nice and convenient to use Google News on a pure Android device, the concept of cards (where, by the way, Samsung doesn't allow you to place Google, but "tik tok" can be "facepalm") just doesn't function and is not convenient. You can restrict your "flipboard" experience to only the news if you like, but the rest of the "cards" you'll see by default are all advertisements. And who exactly would have a use for it? - The default Android 10 gestures vanish when you install a different launcher, and are replaced by either buttons or gestures with three stripes. This seems to be a problem with OneUI in general, and not just the A71 implementation. Six months ago, the launchers were patched, and Samsung's idiotic Free program has replaced Flipboard entirely. which is useless as a news source and fun to play with for a few minutes
