I have a Basset Hound that my wife and I take almost everywhere. We purchased the Solvit Deluxe XL pet ramp to make it easier and safer for my basset hound to get in and out of my SUV. The door doesn't open far enough to hold the entire top edge of the ramp, but it works great with the Solvit door adapter! The seat holds one side of the ramp while the adapter holds the other side. The adapter is very easy to use, just attach it to the top edge of the door and adjust the length of the strap where it catches the ramp. The ramp is adjustable in length so we can use it for my wife's car or my SUV. My basset hound is a large dog with short legs. This gives him a very stable ramp that he's not afraid to use.
