Review on πŸ’‘ Tripp Lite TLP1208TELTV 12-Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, 8ft Cord, Right-Angle Plug, Tel/Modem/Coax Protection, RJ11, & $150,000 Insurance - Black by Katie Pearce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get Tripp Lite and never worry about it again.

Did you know that most extension cords are not rated for high current surges? Did you know that external lightning strikes can propagate through coax and telephone cables? Did you know that the MFG warranty does not cover lightning damage? Did you know that most power strips lose their protective function with age? I've seen these things fail in floods, storms, and all kinds of conditions. but when *they* fail, they make sure your equipment doesn't get damaged. And guess what, either way, you send a photo of the band to Tripp Lite and they *replace* it with the same or the most similar current model. You can not ask for more. Get Tripp-Lite, make sure your cable line runs through one before you connect it to the set-top box (and then to your TV! then to your network!) If you have TVs, computers, AV devices should be behind Tripp Lite.

Pros
  • Just like everyone else
Cons
  • Hard to tell
