I bought this lamp when I started taking pictures again. I have used Alien Bee 400 before and love this light. But I didn't want to spend that much money on a flashlight that I would only use once a month. This light is great. It does the trick and does the job well. It's VERY bright, even on the lowest settings. He is light. Easy to take with you. My only real complaint is that there is no cover when the bulb is shipped and I am always afraid of breaking the bulbs. Otherwise a super cheap flashlight!
