Very heavy and durable, probably too much for my bike rack. Too heavy to return, so I use it.
Very heavy, probably too big for a bike rack. It has a 500-pound load capacity compared to some others that are around 300 pounds. If it's just for a bike, you might want something lighter. Also, no mounting bolt was supplied, so be aware that you will need to purchase a nut and bolt for the second mounting point. Also keep in mind that the 12 inch extension is very long. In my case, this caused the extension cord to scratch the floor. The local machine shop ended up cutting my bike rack in half and welding it into that part. This solved the problem. problem and made the whole assembly stiffer.
