Tons of questions. in Fish & Aquatic Pets

I can't say enough good things about this heater. However, here is a list of things that definitely need to be fixed -1. Does not maintain a constant temperature. I set it to 24°C and it fluctuates between 23°C and 26°C which is stressful for my fish.2. The cord is not very long, only about 1.20m, luckily my fish tank is so close to the outlet, but I can only use it in this 1 fish tank, otherwise I need an extension cord.3. The red light that shows the temperature setting is very bright. It's normal during the day, but at night it lights up the entire pool in red. Luckily it's only a 3 gallon aquarium so it doesn't bother me too much but I'm sure the fish don't like a brightly lit red tank at night. I have it in my Betta tank and it often swims around behind the heater, most of the time it's not a big deal but I've noticed a couple of times it gets stuck between the plastic cover of the heater. I made sure he got out on his own and so far he hasn't needed any help but he's definitely struggled with getting stuck and while he doesn't appear to have been hurt by the heater I'm concerned he might do is burned afterwards. read some other reviews. I will most likely buy a new heater just for the safety of my fish. And I would advise everyone else not to buy this heater. Unless you're comfortable with a bright red light, temperature changes and your fish aren't small enough to get stuck behind it.
