Microfiber on the outside, sponge on the inside.
I can see how soft this car polishing pad is as the microfiber on the outside covers the inside of the pad. However, I needed this for a tiled shower area that collects water, so I wanted both a soft surface and a sponge that collects (and releases) water easily. I wipe it off, then turn the sponge over and gravity pulls the water down the drain. Problem solved!
