I bought the 1' x 6' shelves for 6' shelves. No, that's two sections of 3 feet. Not bad for some, but my space is 6 feet, and I needed 6 feet. So to install the shelves on the studs I had to install the brackets either 16" apart next to the left side of the right shelf or 32" apart leaving the center of the shelf unsupported. If middle brackets were available this would be a great system. As it stands now, if the center of the shelf isn't supported, I wouldn't dare put 150 pounds on a shelf. Also, the description mentions a 400lb load capacity. The box and instructions state a weight of 150 lbs. It's no small difference. You look good, I think it's worth something.
