Review on Cuisinart DCC-T20 14-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker Touchscreen - Sleek Black Design for Convenient Brewing Experience by Janelle Simmons

I really wanted to love this coffee maker after CR rated it so highly. The controls were really well thought out and easy to use. We had it for about 2 1/2 months. As mentioned in another review, it is difficult to get the carafe in and out of the hot plate as the top of the carafe makes too much contact with the grinder/filter holder. The CLEAN button was often pressed in the coffee machine itself. No other coffee maker I've owned has done that. At the end of the process, it fizzes and produces a huge amount of vapor. So much so that I fear it will damage the finish on my cabinets. We will introduce it, although it was quite expensive compared to coffee machines. The controls are really well thought out and easy to use, but the cons outweigh the cons.
