Review on 🦈 Green Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away Upright Vacuum Cleaner (NV501GN) by Dave Skidmore

I had a Kirby before around 1999. I think the Kirby was great but it was always too heavy. I stuck with the Kirby because of the amazing suction power of the nozzle hose and I'm still not sure I'll ever find anything stronger than this. I wanted to test my new vacuum, so I did one last full house clean with my Kirby and then put it away. Then I vacuumed again with my new shark. WOW. That's all I can say. I felt ashamed of my Kirby for the huge amount of dirt he had left behind. The shark picked up so much dirt I was almost amazed how it outperformed Kirby at carpet cleaning. So pros and cons! Advantages - Very powerful suction of bare floors and carpets. Killed my Kirby for achievement in both areas. Easy to use. Once you get comfortable with this device, it is very easy to use and switch between different modes of operation. Contains enough dirt to vacuum an entire house before it needs to be emptied. I have to deal with 2200 sqm. ft. Easy filter draining/cleaning. Press the button to empty. Trap for small items. I accidentally sucked off the BB. Despite being small, it still separates the BB from the small side opening for these types of objects and I was able to open the side door, grab the BB and pull it out of the car very easily. Very practical for people with children or small objects that can be left on the floor or sucked up. So far it seems reliable. Hose length, as mentioned by others, can also be an issue. I think they designed it to be perfect for people who are 5'6" to 5'11" tall. I am 6ft 2ft and the tube is not long enough for my height. This isn't a problem as you can always detach the canister to raise it higher. If you are old and frail this may not be an option for you so it is definitely something to consider. Definitely a household vacuum cleaner, not the best for cars etc. The length of the hose and the rigidity of the hose's main shaft means it's not optimal for cleaning a car or any other vehicle. Kirby is great for cleaning cars. Because the nozzle hose is a complete hose. Not a long, stiff stick that can't adjust to hard-to-reach places. The price you pay to have everything built into one unit with no attachments anywhere. It is not possible to remove the main cover of the brushes to clean the hair. I would love this feature, but you can still easily remove the hair with scissors or a small knife. I'll have to update my review in a year or two to say more about durability.
