This is a very nice watch and the rose gold bracelet and bezel are very attractive. I can't wait to wear it in the summer when I have a nice tan. I especially like the thinness of the face and the suppleness of the strap. They are so easy and comfortable to wear! I'm a fan of Skagen watches with their low profile and thin dials. I particularly like Hald's (and Hagen, second best) design. This Karolina is very similar to the Hald with a few differences: it's as thin as the Hald, the Skagen name is placed discreetly at 3 o'clock, and it has thin lines to indicate the hours. This Carolina's face is a millimeter larger, but not overly large. They have the same metal mesh strap as my Hald watch. This time: Skagen SKW2508 Hald Steel-Mesh women's watch. And Karolina is missing Hald's sparkling mineral crumbs. This Karolina's face has a bevel or angle in the face. It adds elegance. With a wide 38mm dial, this Skagen watch is well suited for everyday situations. The wide face is very popular right now, and I love this combo: it's a nod to popularity and style, but it also narrows the face so it's not uncomfortable to wear. About the mesh band: Skagen uses it on a lot of their watches and I've seen them in a lot of metallic colors. It has two overlapping thin "buckles" (for lack of a better term). It takes a little getting used to, but once you get used to it, you'll appreciate it as a great security feature. When properly connected, this watch will never fall off your wrist! You MUST read the instructions to visualize the two overlapping loops/buckles. Then you need some practice. Believe me, it works very well. The system folds neatly, easily and firmly with two latches. Fits smoothly on the wrist.
