UPDATE OVERVIEW (December 12, 2021) This thermometer is taking a VERY LONG time to set up. So when it is used to measure different ambient temperatures, it is very annoying, especially when you go from a cold to a warm environment or vice versa, i.e. to measure a cold outside temperature and a warm outside temperature, it can take more than 15 minutes to set up. And even when this thermometer "adjusts," it never seems to settle at a specific temperature. You will spend so much time waiting for the thermometer to give you a reading and then you won't know which numbers are correct. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used this product to record temperature and humidity data in homes. I also bought a BTMETER BT-866A. This product VERY SLOWLY adapts to different temperatures. Wait at least 5-10 minutes for temperature change. So when you go from colder temperatures to warmer temperatures or vice versa, it takes a LONG time to stabilize to get an accurate temperature. I suspect that the product itself is absorbing too much temperature. I have not double checked the data with several other products, but I have also used the BTMETER BT-866A product and the temperature and relative humidity data differ by at least 1-2 whole digits. So the accuracy is unknown, one of them must be wrong. Those two big issues aside, it looks like a well-made product.
