The light itself is fine. It's by no means a high-end light, but it looks good and does the job. My complaint is about the mount. Most lanterns of this type have a support consisting of two medal pieces attached in the center, and they can be parallel or perpendicular to each other. This light has a bracket with holes for fixing to the ceiling box and 2 screws pointing downwards for fixing to the light. The problem is that the screws are too long to screw into the box as the screw head interferes with the mounting holes in the ceiling box. I ended up cutting off the screw heads to make room. You can also shorten the bolts by cutting them off after you've reached the correct length to fit the small cap nuts visible on the outside of the lantern. In general, the price and quality are right for me, but the attachments for round plastic ceiling boxes need to be reconsidered.
