This is just a great lamp. Looks MUCH more expensive than its price. I was looking for a crossbar mount and was thrilled when I found one from Globe Electric. In addition to the radiant style, the stripes also cover the seam of the drum itself. I also like that it has a diffuser and 3-bulb attachment. It suits many styles. Goodbye breast light. It was a little tricky to align the mounting screws, but I think that's the case with all semi-recessed mounts.

. First, the globe is transparent, not solid white frosted glass like in the photo. Not happy about that. Second, remember that the decorative nickel discs holding the globe are different colors (see image). I chose a puck, so I don't care. Third, there is a nickname in the world. Despite all this, I leave the light on. In the end it works for me. The price and quality outweigh the hiccups. It really improves the look of my laundry room.

Is asking for an adjustable mount too much? Older homes have round plastic boxes, and what you buy in the big boxes have two holes on each side for attaching a crossbar. With this mount, only one rod comes with two depth adjustable screws on the box to adjust the depth of the metal cover to fit snugly against the ceiling.
