Got this to replace a fixed gear on my Raleigh and it has exceeded my expectations. I recently bought a cheaper ratchet (under $10) and the quality and looks are immediately noticeable. It has a look that's almost industrial/military, and the weight and feel make it a solid piece of engineering. In addition, it is almost noiseless in operation. I say almost because I only notice it when I'm working on my bike and turning the handlebars. Otherwise I don't really notice. I will continue to buy this freewheel as the value for money is really hard to beat.
