Looks like a quality replacement

Arrived quickly. Nice and quiet. build quality. A bit pricey but I needed it fast. I used this to upgrade the 18 tooth sprocket on my 2018 Nashbar Campus Single Speed City Bike #NB-SSC-52, 20 tooth sprocket. I needed a sprocket puller to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0028N8S24/ to remove the original. I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015HZ41M to remove that 20 tooth sprocket. Knitted with a small hem.

Really impressed! Good value for money!

Got this to replace a fixed gear on my Raleigh and it has exceeded my expectations. I recently bought a cheaper ratchet (under $10) and the quality and looks are immediately noticeable. It has a look that's almost industrial/military, and the weight and feel make it a solid piece of engineering. In addition, it is almost noiseless in operation. I say almost because I only notice it when I'm working on my bike and turning the handlebars. Otherwise I don't really notice. I will continue to buyโ€ฆ

Great, Quiet, Smooth, Affordable

If you've converted your bike to a single gear, this is for you. Well you can get the 16, 18 or 20 ton version but you know what I mean. I went for a fairly high ratio of 2,625:1 with a setting of 42/16. It takes me a minute to get going, but I'm going 15 mph without much effort. As some others have mentioned, this free time is QUIET! I think I see a slight wobble, but it's not significant if there is any at all (maybe it's just the power of suggestion), but nothing that would make me questionโ€ฆ

Good, quiet, but the mechanism sounds.

Just saying this freewheel works as described! It's quiet, smooth and gets the job done adequately. My only criticism is that the mechanism, dare I say it, sounds. cheap and tinny. When pedaling or coasting, the mechanism doesn't appear to be a quality part. It's Shimano and I KNOW it's a quality company, but just because it sounds like it it seems cheaper than it actually is. Makes me a little concerned about long-term reliability. Also, an excellent freewheel! ::EDIT (06/13/2012):: After theโ€ฆ
