Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Enhance Your Cycling Performance with the SHIMANO Single Freewheel Sprocket SF-1200 by Chris Cruz

Good, quiet, but the mechanism sounds.

Just saying this freewheel works as described! It's quiet, smooth and gets the job done adequately. My only criticism is that the mechanism, dare I say it, sounds. cheap and tinny. When pedaling or coasting, the mechanism doesn't appear to be a quality part. It's Shimano and I KNOW it's a quality company, but just because it sounds like it it seems cheaper than it actually is. Makes me a little concerned about long-term reliability. Also, an excellent freewheel! ::EDIT (06/13/2012):: After the clutch has been put through its paces, it breaks more and sounds much less tinny. and even more convincing in terms of durability. I think it will be a promising freewheel in the long run! :)::UPDATE (7 Aug 2013)::Still a champion! After a little cleaning and relubrication, it runs even quieter than ever. However, for the curious, this freewheel is only compatible with ONE Shimano freewheel puller (which costs a lot of money). The design of the freewheel removal pins isn't the best, and removing the freewheel can be difficult if it hasn't been touched for a long time (in some cases the puller pins have sheared off). Please keep this in mind when making your decision as I learned the hard way when I had to disengage the freewheel to adjust and clean the hub.
