My wife and I are both very active in the gym and work out 5-6 days a week. I've seen some supplements that contain carnitine, but I was interested in isolating its effects with a product that was just carnitine (and also comes in more and different forms than what I've seen in other supplements). It is a liquid with no additives. Measuring cup so you either have to grab a tablespoon or just look at it while adding it to another liquid you drink it with. About half the time I took this I added it to about 8 ounces of water and it actually tasted pretty good. The other half of the times I've taken it, I've added it to other supplements or smoothies, and the flavor has been subtle enough not to overwhelm other flavors. I've noticed an improvement in my workouts over the past two weeks while taking it. Some sources suggest that the beneficial effects of carnitine may take some time (unlike caffeine, which has a beneficial effect almost immediately). So I might see something more dramatic in the future, but right now I'm seeing a little more endurance in both weightlifting and cardio.
