I knew it would be worth the time when I saw how much my wife loved the look of the kitchen with the new lighting. So I took my time and fixed it in and around my kitchen cabinets. I plugged it in and it turned bright white. I pushed the purple button, that was the last time I controlled it. he began blinking, slow and fast, faint and bright, in a palette of colors. At first I thought it was an 80's flash mob. Then I thought: My God, this makes everyone who comes into the kitchen sick. The NO button turns it off. If I pressed the power button a couple of times, it would settle down and stop flashing different colors, becoming a dull dark blue but never turning off. It only responded to a push of a button and then everything went wrong. Does NOT respond to button presses. I unplugged it and left it for an hour, plugged it back in and it started blinking again, just not as bright this time. Switched to another outlet, no change so far. I disconnected and reconnected all connections, still no change. I'm not impressed, I'm very disappointed with this product. Update: All together stopped working after 1 hour. If I could give a NO star I would! Update: 08/04/2019. I finished school and now I have time to update my review of this led strip. I contacted the seller and was shocked when he informed me that he would only offer a full refund if I delete my feedback. I delayed the answer. I was in college and didn't have time for it anymore. I wanted them to pay for my lost time but they wouldn't even consider a refund if I hadn't removed this review first. Finally, after many emails back and forth, in one of the emails I said that I will take that into account if they replace their defective product when I rewrite my review. It was rubbish too. Both sets of LED strips were of the lowest quality, materials were cheap and neither worked as advertised. I refused to spend any more time with this salesman or his junk. I recommend you find another seller and not spend your hard earned money here.
