I ordered this because I have stage 4 cancer. I thought it would be great to help me put my elderly dog in my 2019 Jeep Compass as we travel for work. After receiving it, I realized I needed an extension bracket (if your car has a stock underbody, you need it), so I had to order this part for $50. Finally it has arrived. I tried taking the boots off with an allen wrench but they must have used a machine to tighten them. I can't get the bottom 2 off. The top two required me to hammer in an Allen wrench to loosen. . How the other two are arranged I can't get any further. So if you have a car that doesn't need an extension mount or you need to lower or raise the hitch mount (basically plug and play) I wouldn't recommend this. I just spent €300
