Great stand for hitch steps

I ride a 4Runner and it's pretty tall. One of my dogs has developed arthritis and I'd rather he stopped jumping around. This step flexes under the SUV and does not interfere, despite a tire underneath. Easy to use and easy to install. I use the locking pin and wrench that comes with the kit to keep it from dangling. I had to adjust the height a bit, and unscrewing all the screws with an Allen key wasn't very fun. However, they support him well. Yes it's expensive but I hope it lasts.

Stable, wide step for a mobile home.

I bought this to get into the RV on the back of my pickup truck. This works great as the tailgate is removable and offers a nice wide adjustable step. It can be folded to the side with one hand. The surface is wide and not slippery. It doesn't wobble or wobble when I stand on my side. I weigh 240 pounds and it remains very secure. My truck has two wheels so it only takes one step. If I had a bigger one like a 4WD truck, it probably wouldn't be as convenient with a step. The price was quite…

It's pretty solid as it comes

It's pretty solid as it comes. It occasionally has clasps holding it together, but just enough to keep the mismatched specs from affecting it. In the on position it seems solid. On GM Tahoe/Yukon/Escalades that have the spare tire under the body near the trailer hitch (2011-?), the rotation under the truck doesn't work at all. Adjusting it down is not enough to clear the spare tire. There is no list of "known good" or "known bad" cars that this would work on at Revain. There are no gap…

I really like this and it works as advertised. My old Chow/Lab mix had knee dysplasia so he couldn't jump on my pilot's back like he did when he was younger. This worked great for lifting it from the back without having to lift its rear end into the car. We only used it for a week and it just got used to it but died before I could really check it out thoroughly. I think the only downside is the price. Although it is very well made, it is expensive. It could probably be sold cheaper and they…

Absolutely worth your money! Great for my Berner and Jeep!

I need a way to fit my 120 lb Bernese Mountain Dog in my new Wrangler. Installed it myself. I just used some lube to tighten everything up. When I go off-road I have to remember to take it off as it affects ground clearance. But for regular daily walks, it folds up and down easily, and it only took my dog half a dozen tries to figure out that he should step on it instead of trying to jump over it (see video!). I put reflective tape around the rim just for better visibility in case I…

Removing screws with an allen wrench is a joke

I ordered this because I have stage 4 cancer. I thought it would be great to help me put my elderly dog in my 2019 Jeep Compass as we travel for work. After receiving it, I realized I needed an extension bracket (if your car has a stock underbody, you need it), so I had to order this part for $50. Finally it has arrived. I tried taking the boots off with an allen wrench but they must have used a machine to tighten them. I can't get the bottom 2 off. The top two required me to hammer in an Allen

Perfect for my large dogs

I needed a step for my 80lb Goldendoodle who is starting to have trouble getting into my Wrangler. All other steps were very narrow and didn't seem to be the best. Although it's more expensive, it's durable. I can sit on it, stand on it, reach the top of the jeep - oh, and the dog is fine with that! It had a locking pin so no one could steal it. Installation took about 2 minutes. Highly recommended! **Updated - about a month has passed. The locking pin rusts and even with oil it becomes…

Good product! Best Outdoor Accessory

After our dog had knee surgery, we decided we didn't want him getting in and out of our SUV. (We have two Siberian Huskies) This was the perfect solution if you have a trailer hitch. It is adjustable, lockable and easy to install. It's very easy to "twist" it when you want to use it, and then tuck it under the car when not in use. It's incredibly strong and stable, so training dogs to use it was very easy. Plus, it's a great "table" for your water plate after a long hike! Keep it clean and oil…

Big advancement and so easy to use!

I read a lot of reviews about this move and almost didn't buy it. Glad I decided to do it. Worth every cent for me. I have HUGE dogs. two Great Danes. My big boy won't take a step (yet) because he prefers to jump straight into my FJ. However my pup will get used to it from day one so this is a winner for me. Save my back from sorrow. The pup is 50 years old and it is a great relief to have a reliable and easy to use step. It was easy to mount on my truck's hitch, so I didn't need an extension…
