Update: The seller contacted me and sent new versions compatible with the current firmware. The new ones seem to work. While this limitation is a pain and I wish it wasn't necessary (I blame HP), I'm bringing up this review because of the seller's customer service and the inks that actually work with the printer. ---Original Review---Please note that I can't really verify the quality of the cartridges I have as they don't work. This rating is about cartridge compatibility, not quality. I bought them in December 2019 as a backup cartridge set and only need them now (October 2020). HP updated the firmware so they don't work and I can't use them. I know this is due to a firmware change by HP and I wasn't aware I had to prevent firmware updates (which is generally a bad idea), neither of which is the fault of the manufacturer of this product. . However, I'm stuck here with no working printer and all my advance plans for replacement cartridges have failed and the money I spent wasted. So beware buyers. When purchasing, make sure they work with the version of your firmware. Don't plan on buying them ahead of time and sitting on them for several months. As of this writing, the product description states that cartridges purchased now will work with the firmware released in Summer 2020.
