Tried this because I was killing my popsocket by playing with it all the time. I wanted to see if they were either more durable or easier to avoid if durability were the same. Well, they fail quite splendidly. The first one I used I played a lot and after a little less than 3 weeks it lost its ability to stay where I needed it and became completely free and flexible. So I tried the second one and refrained from messing around with it. Took about 6 weeks with minimal tweaks. While it works, it works great. But it's falling apart too fast and it seems there's no way to fix it. I think the benefit is that there are 4 of these in this set, so I should have 12 weeks of use left. so $8 for about 5 or 6 months of a good ring stand I think. Good? However, I will not order them again. I'll consider another brand of this style as I generally liked them more than the pop jack, but I might fall back on the outlet. Even with daily fidgeting throughout the day, my outlet lasted 9-10 months. as I generally liked them more than the pop socket, but I could fall back on the socket.
