My wife saw this mesh door handle for our trailer when we were camping so I bought it and installed it. My rating is for what the product is, not what people might think it should be. I had to drill about four pilot holes for the mounting brackets, otherwise the installation was easy. I didn't actually screw it into the screen door. I bought a diamond mesh safety net to keep our dog from shredding the net. I drilled four holes in the guard and used stainless steel mounting bolts and nuts instead of the metal bolts that came with the handrail. The handrail itself is not designed to help you climb the steps when boarding the camper, it is not that strong. It has plastic parts that won't support your weight, but for its intended purpose as a handle to help you close your camper door, it works great and we both love it. Out of the box the grab bar didn't feel very strong but once screwed in and installed it was strong enough to reach and close the RV door. It works great for its intended purpose.
