It really works. I have dark coarse hair that is scattered on my chin, above my upper lip and around my eyebrows. I started with the chin. I started low but after 30 seconds the hair was still holding. I ended up having to use setting 6 to handle them. Unfortunately, I assumed I would need the same adjustment in the brow area. Oh, it definitely killed the hair follicles, but it also burned the skin. I ended up with little craters on each section of the follicle. They appeared about 10 minutes after treatment and seemed to increase in size within hours. I put antibiotic cream on the affected area and finally after 3 weeks they were almost healed. Remember: the skin on the eyelids is more sensitive than on the chin! PLEASE START WITH THE MINIMUM SETTING FOR EACH BODY AREA AND GRADUALLY INCREASE TO FIND THE RIGHT SETTING. This works too. You just have to be careful not to burn yourself.
