No no no. not for rain. About two minutes later, a light drizzle dropped water on me. every strap was a dripping stain. The hatch zip was a joke for any kind of rain. I should go back and check but I'm pretty sure they said it protects against all elements including rain. it looks good and fits well. Two seat belts on the head of the driver and front passenger are not enough. You have to choose one or the other. For the price I wasn't expecting much but I expected over two minutes of dryness. Wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend for Washington. Dry weather would be good for that, but I don't have a roof to protect me from good weather.
