Review on πŸ”’ GICENT Faraday Bags for Key Fob (2 Pack) - Protect Your Car's RFID Signal with Black Antitheft Faraday Pouches by Derek Pape

Works if done right

I bought this product to prevent my keyless fob battery from draining so quickly because I store it near the car and the RF chip inside is constant after contact with the car, resulting in dead battery after only 18 months. At first I thought it wouldn't work because there are two pockets and I put it in an unlined outside pocket. This bag appears to be protected from the magnetic stripe on the credit card by skimmers. I tested this by putting the key fob in and pressing the door lock button and my doors were locked and the lights were flashing. I was annoyed but I wrote to the company at the Revain link and they explained me how to use it. An "inner pocket" lined with silver fabric prevents a key fob or credit card from being read with an RF chip. I saw it later on the Revain page in the product description, but I didn't really look there for product instructions after the product arrived. There are no instructions on the packaging. " on the front and a description on the back. No instructions or contact info, country of origin, etc., which seems a bit iffy. Also, the word "blocker" is correct at the top, but misspelled the lower front and back (entire not to mention bad English) It didn't give me much confidence in the company but they were polite and helpful in their email replies and the product works as described it easily holds my key fob, house key, shop tag and clip I don't plan on taking the bag in my bag but people who carry a bag or purse might have room for it I need it mainly for use around my home and it works for this Five stars for the product, minus one because of the lack of instructions.
