Grates cheese terribly
So this works for hard cheeses like parmesan, but anything softer (even aged cheddar) gets stuck in the big shallow cutting holes. This is very dangerous and as others have said you must be extremely careful not to injure yourself. I thought others were exaggerating or just not knowing what they were doing when they complained about this thing in other reviews. This grater is suitable for very hard cheese or carrots/parsnips. One more thing? Use a different grater (grater with oval/round holes is better for cheese/vegetables).
