Although I've almost fully recovered from plantar fasciitis, I've also had swollen feet. After an examination by a vascular surgeon ruled out blood clots, I was told that compression stockings were the only solution. After reading many positive reviews, I bought a pair of low-rise socks from several manufacturers. These Muezna compression stockings have really reduced the swelling in my feet. They are very comfortable, do not roll or slide. I even wore socks over them on cold days. Still comfortable. I wear 11.5 sneakers and smaller dress shoes, and L socks slip on easily, so much so I thought they were too big. nope They worked fine. I've also washed and machine dried them with no noticeable effects. Not because of the socks, but now that my feet are back to normal size (which I didn't notice, I haven't seen them in a while) my ankles are more swollen, so I'll buy more socks, but you'll get crew socks be that are above the ankles.
