Review on 🎧 Micolindun External Sound Card USB Hubs Audio Adapter: Plug and Play for PC Laptop (Red) by Kevin Hawkins
My concern: does it run on an external USB hub? Yes!
I ordered this with about 50/50 confidence that the faulty 3.5mm AUX-out (headphone jack) on my 3-4 year old 15" Apple MacBook Pro (running Windows 7 ) Pro can be replaced via Bootcamp. I was very pleased to find that although the sound quality wasn't quite as good as via the original AUX jack, this unit was not powered by just one of the two (but only two, on this unit: both employed) USB ports, but one of these two ports is attached to an external USB hub. I can't complain twice as much about anything, but the sound quality still allows you to enjoy music all day, however the sound profile has changed a bit again, from nothing to almost like new and very affordable. Hope this review helps someone else who is interested in the idea of an external USB hub!
