Does not hold the material tightly. I'm sending them back for this reason. I had a set of round ledge tires for which the other tire had a ledge that went into the ledge and held very tight. This brand didn't offer that, but I didn't know about it until I got it. I'm still looking for that form with the feature I just mentioned. If you are working on your embroidery and want your material to hold firmly I would look elsewhere.
