Like the appearance, like the size and size, and the fireplace heats well. But. I have collected countless similar pieces of furniture, from simple to complex. First I made two side shelves and they connected easily with no issues. Another thing is the fireplace. The sides and front diverged further so it looked like a comedy sketch as you worked. I had my husband help me with this part but even when we both tried to put the pieces together it still fell apart as we worked. It got to the point where my husband was ready to throw it in the trash but I didn't. Not wanting to give up, I extended my patience (more than I actually knew). In any case, there are only pictures in the instructions, NO words. It wasn't a problem, but it didn't help. The problem was the locking elements, which included screws. They kept pulling the chipboard out and the pins were loose, they didn't really help hold it together for assembly. After getting completely frustrated, we decided to set a bottom and try to build from there. Once we had the top and bottom in place sufficiently to stabilize them, we could install the front end and move on. I swear not But I've given it some serious thought and probably came up with a few choice words in the process. Once assembled, we both love it. It's like having a baby: a real pain, but then you forget it because you're so happy you have a little sweetheart. As a Prime member, I buy LOTS of stuff on Amazon. Living in the country far from the city, Amazon is my source for many of my purchases. I have to rely heavily on your product reviews to decide which product is best for me, especially when I can't actually see, touch, or hold the product.
