The fact that the mouse is powered by AA batteries is a really useful feature. You have the option of putting in either one or two. One is in my possession personally. The 10-hour shift on the Razer Ouroboros drained the battery completely. The G603 can operate for several months with just one battery. There is no program or driver that was installed by me. After plugging in the USB adaptor, I found that the device was operational. Nothing was prepared in advance. That is the way everything operates. Pressing is a little bit more difficult and louder than Ouroboros, but none of those things bother me at all. If you only use one battery, the weight is consistent with what you would expect. No complaints. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that the perfect mouse for me would be so reasonably priced. And this is the most incredible thing that could ever happen.
