Review on Logitech G G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, Black by Stanislaw Was ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I needed a comfortable mouse for gaming and browsing at home on the TV. G603 - a mouse with a new HERO sensor (similar to Pixart 3366), developed by Logitech itself, with reduced consumption, with the ability to work both from the radio channel and from bluetooth, that is, you can safely take it to the office without carrying a transmitter with you and without being afraid of it lose. I would like to note a cool (just like it, and it connects well) system of hooks on the magnets of the top cover of the mouse. Someone complains that with strong squeezing, the top cover can slightly move away from the case, I did not find this in myself. The assembly is of high quality (well, this is Logitech) - the legs are glued evenly, there is a slight play only on the DPI change button, the main buttons have some free play, but thanks to the springs, this is not a play, the engineers solved the problem with a removable cover very gracefully. The case and the main buttons of the mouse are made of matte plastic (although someone writes that the lower part, including the sides, is made with soft-touch), the side buttons and the DPI change button are made of glossy, the wheel is rubberized, solid. The sensor is located in the center, that is, there will be no problems with the feeling of DPI. All in all, the G603 has no alternative in terms of a good wireless mouse with a long battery life and replaceable batteries, which can also be used for the office. If you are looking for a mouse with a good sensor, including for games, then from the wireless ones, pay attention to the G403 (+ rubber sidewalls, - non-removable acc), the G703, according to reviews, has a defective wheel and lens. All three (G403, G603, G703) are identical in mouse shape. If you need more buttons - G903, G700s. If you don’t mind wires, I would pay attention to Steelseries Rival 310, 500, 700, Zowie FK1, ZA11 for large-medium palms for palmar/finger grip. Well, G102, G300s for small hands. I don’t consider Razer mice, although DA Elite, if you find a quality copy, is a good option with a better sensor at the beginning of 2022, and LANCEHEAD Tournament if the side buttons suit you.

Pros
  • + FREEDOM! No clinging and pulling wires, NOTHING + comfortable shape for large and medium hands + excellent sensor + excellent main switches (Omron for 20 million clicks) and side buttons - clicks are very pleasant, the side buttons are large and are pressed with a slide, the main buttons have return springs. + removable batteries or rechargeable batteries, can be used with a single battery, then the weight will be about 112 g (to make it easier, you can put AAA batteries / batteries with foil and reduce the weight to about 100 g) + memory in the mouse (set it up once through the software and use it anywhere) and convenient software + gaming / office modes, the ability to work via Bluetooth, switches on the mouse from the bottom. (work via Bluetooth is declared with Windows version 8 or higher) + long working time. 500 hours of continuous operation from 2 AA in production mode and up to 18 months in saving mode with standard use (information from the manufacturer's website) + the transmitter can be carried in the mouse itself, there is a place for it inside + price ($70 or 4000r), it cost me 3600 for the stock + good thick (6mm) universal (G403, G603, G703) legs with hooks for replacement
