Most rust removers currently sold are weak and ineffective. On the contrary, this one is outstanding and well worth the extra money. I've used this on a number of rusty items with good success. It is important to ensure that all rust film is removed, so first sand the surface and then wash with water. You can then apply a rust converter. I recommend two or more coats for best results. If your item is black you can paint it black epoxy paint and you will have something that will last for many years. I did it on a truck and it's better than new.
