OverviewThis is my first time using any type of protection, so my expectations may differ from those of an advanced user. Overall, I think having experience with the casting process helps and will become easier to manage over time. Considering the cost, I would probably try them again just for the cost. Benefits • Great Value – two pairs of top and bottom protection for one great price. Comes with a case for each pair. • I felt comfortable in my mouth - the pads are a bit thick but not uncomfortable. • I've used them with teeth whitening gel and had no particular problem with the gel falling out of the pad. Cons • The sides of one of the guards stuck together, and even after reheating, I couldn't peel it off, so I had to throw one away. Attribute it to the learning process. • Learning curve to set the right temperature and protect your teeth. I used an instant temperature thermometer and heated the water to 80 degrees C and used that temperature as the temperature to soften the protection for the formation. • Formation of protection around your teeth. I had trouble molding the front and back of the guard. Biting the guard formed the top/bottom of my teeth as shown in the picture. The front of the guard (the front of the teeth) stayed straight up, while the back (the back of the teeth) rested on the palate rather than the back of the teeth.
